Looking forward to performing in his home town, Mark celebrates his birthday on the television show, Good Morning San Diego, singing and performing live for over 11 million viewers. Mark takes over management for ex-Bullet Boys singer, Charlie Wayne, and his new band Platinum Rose. Mark filmed two music videos for Platinum Rose, as well as an interview. They are available on YouTube.

Mark hosts a series of blues, rock and country concerts at his concert venue, BackStage Studios Nashville, with special guests, award-winning producer Kevin Beamish (now Sheeba Entertainment's executive producer), and Nashville music executives David Morse of Sony Records, and Ira Blonder of The Sound Kitchen. At Mark's Halloween VIP Party, over 15 talented recording artists, including Mark, performed for a festive Music City celebration.

With Lionel Richie breaking into the country music scene, it came as no surprise to him and his publishing company when Mark contacted him with his dream of finally being able to record the song "Stuck On You". It has recently been released and you can now find it on iTunes and MarkConnorsCountryMusic.com.

Mark Connors & Sheeba Entertainment, Inc. will open a new complex on August 15 -- Backstage and the Steel Horse Bus Stop --in Whites Creek, TN.  Backstage is a 5,000 square foot room that's ideal for rehearsals, an affordable area to showcase indie artists, and for concerts and special events, with catering available.  The Steel Horse will be open weekdays and weekends for tour bus storage, including indoor winter storage, wash and cleaning services.  http://www.sheebaentertainment.com.

Mark has completed recording, mixing and mastering three diverse new singles, produced by the famous producer Kevin Beamish, to be released together in August....a top ten song from the late 70's, a spiritual, and one rockin' country tune.  Be sure to watch for the release announcement.

Following their appearance at the Harley-Davidson of Cool Springs dealership (see below), Mark and Hollywood Yates are scheduled to be interviewed at the My Studio Booth located in the Cool Springs Galleria, Franklin, TN.

Mark will  make a celebrity appearance with country music artist Hollywood Yates (known as Wolf on TV's American Gladiator) at Harley-Davidson of Cool Springs, Franklin, TN.  Mark and Hollywood will be available for interviews, autographs and photo opps.

Mark was embraced by his hometown of Tucson where he performed in the December 29 concert with Mark Chestnutt at the Fox Theatre.  Craig Sumberg, Executive Director of the Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation stated, "Mark Connors delivers a unique brand of country twang and city grit.  His moving songs and energetic delivery had everyone tapping their cowboy boots and asking for more."  ”

Learn more about Mark Connors, the man and the musician, on page 47 of the December 6, 2010 issue of Country Weekly magazine, where the release of his newest single, "When I Look Into Your Eyes" is also announced.  This song was a hit in 1992 when it was first recorded by the band Firehouse. 

October 18, 2010 - Nashville, TN

Mark Connors was among the 1,200 bikers who followed Dierks Bentley down Broadway in Nashville on the Fifth Annual Miles and Music for Kids ride.  The ride ended at Nashville's Riverfront Park for a concert that included Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Heidi Newfield and others.  The event earned $250,990.62 for the Monroe Carell Jr. Childrens Hospital.

August 21, 2010 - Idyllwild, CA

Mark performed his Second Annual Idyllwild Help Center Benefit Concert in Idyllwild, CA.  One hundred percent of the proceeds went to their Children's Fund to provide school clothes and supplies for children from low income and no income families.

Mark donated his time on June 10 to the 2010 Kids on Stage Summer Academy at Hillsboro Elementary & Middle School in Leipers Fork, TN, where he performed and answered students’ questions about being a country artist and video producer/director. The program gratefully accepted free copies of Mark’s album, “Its All About the Country,” with 100% of the profits going to support the program.

Mark is filming a music video to be released June 1 in which he sings his new single, "Country Summer Days". David Browning, the actor well known for his Mayberry Deputy Barney Fife impersonations, is flying into Nashville to film with Mark on May 20. The video will air on 40 different internet outlets.

Country Stars On-line has named Mark Connors its official host for video-taped interviews of today’s country stars, using Mark’s own show, Road Stars.  Interviews will be aired on Country Stars On-line’s website.  Mark will be interviewing Nashville’s biggest stars at home, on tour, at performances and major events.  Watch for his upcoming interview with Wynona Judd.
