| Mark Connors Signature Guitar $3,700 Top of the line, custom built on a limited basis. Mark Connors own signature guitar was designed and hand built for him at his own specification. Its unique, neck-through design provides an elegant, comfortable transition between neck and body, allowing its multi-laminate core to run from end to end which provides a more even and balanced tone and eliminates dead spots on the neck of the instrument. The cavity cover matches the wood on the back of the guitar, is discreetly attached with magnets rather than screws, giving it a seamless look. The fingerboard, constructed of wear-resistant, tough black ebony, is a full two octave (24 frets). The pickups are hum bucking and can be switched from dual to single coil, making it sound like two completely different guitars. Contrasting shell inlay is color-matched to the selected body tint which is available in a wide choice of stunning colors. Hard resin polyester creates a beautiful glass-like finish that enhances the figure of the curly maple top, providing very effective moisture and UV protection. |
